This is an ultra velvety batter-like beer packed with chocolate nuances from layers and layers of chocolate malts and toasted coconut. We were inspired by the best part of a German chocolate cake - the fudgy batter. When drafting this recipe, one of us actually said, "what if we use all the chocolate malts. Every chocolate malt!" We did just that. All the gentle roast character blends so well with the cacao nibs and vanilla. Oh, and the toasted coconut. This beer is topped off with toasted coconut that brings this beer into a full-on dessert category.
